Past President, Nick Hennen - Director of Sales & Marketing, Firing Circuits, Inc.

Picture
Nick currently serves as Director of Sales & Marketing at Firing Circuits of Shelton, CT which services the sustainability market space through the design, engineering and manufacturing of R&D test equipment, simulators and automatic production systems for batteries—including advanced technologies such as lithium-based cells, liquid metal “hot” systems, ultracapacitors, fuel cells and so forth.  Influence also extends into the “green” military movement, utility efficiency improvement, renewable installations and electric and hybrid vehicles.

Specifically, Nick has nearly 20 years in technical sales with more than ten of that focusing on advanced battery technology and renewable energy systems.   This includes many years in an ownership or management position developing corporate strategies, product design and launch, and manufacturing design.  He remains passionate about sustainability as part of the “new U.S. economy.”

As part of this path, Nick coordinated with a small group of fellow “green” advocates to develop the concept of a sustainability consortium that would allow emerging technologies and small businesses to work together in business.  This partnership would also include education, services and organized labor to provide a complete designed, engineered and installed package in the sustainability sector.  This idea has itself become sustainable as Univerdant.

Nick holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO and an Executive MBA from Washington University St. Louis Olin School of Business.
